He is the founder and INCREDIBLE vocalist for the popular 1950s/1960s Doo-Wop group, The Jive Five…












He was still at it in 1992…



AND HE’S STILL GOT IT!!!



Terry Stewart, President and CEO of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame has called Eugene Pitts “The most underrated soul singer in America.”

Douglas Wayne Sahm (R.I.P.) was born in San Antonio, TX on November 6, 1941 and passed away on November 18, 1999…

He was the leader of The Sir Douglas Quintet…



 


 But is also considered to have been a very important figure in what has come to be known as “Tejano Music”…







The Eagles’ Glenn Frey was born in Detroit on this date in 1948 and grew up in Royal Oak (Dondero High School) before he became the guitarist and vocalist/songwriter for The Eagles; 
as well as doing plenty of solo work…



His first professional recording gig, though, was playing acoustic guitar and doing background vocals on Bob Seger’s 
RAMBLIN’ GAMBLIN’MAN in 1968…
