And, hot on his heels is King Curtis with 
SOUL TWIST entering the charts…



 The instrumental would eventually reach #1 
on R ‘n B and #17 on the Pop Chart…


SOUL TWIST was so popular that later in the same year Sam Cook would mention it in his classic HAVIN’ A PARTY…
