Little Richard Rules the Charts in April of 1957!




 April 13, 1957:


Little Richard hits #1 on the R 'n B chart and #21 (on 4/13) on the pop chart with "Lucille"






He also hit #3 on the R 'n B chart with "Send Me Some Lovin'" , #2 on the R 'n B chart and #10 (on 7/08) on the pop chart with "Jenny, Jenny"  and #2 on the R 'n B chart and #8 (on 10/28) on the pop chart with "Keep A Knockin'."    

All four singles are released on Specialty Records…


Not a bad day for Mr. Pennimen!
