HAPPY BIRTHDAY ROSIE HAMLIN (born July 21, 1945) Rosie Hamlin, Rosie of Rosie & the Originals, had a memorable one-shot hit with the ballad "Angel Baby" in 1960…

Rosie and the Originals were a 1960s musical group best known for her single Angel Baby…

Rosie Hamlin wrote the lyrics for Angel Baby as a poem when she was 14 years old and still attending Mission Bay High School in San Diego, California…

Lonely Blue Nights was an “almost hit” on Highland records and got Rosie signed to Brunswick, but just didn’t have “enough” to make her career take off...

—She was only 16 years at time!

Rosie and the Originals were first elected Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as one-hit wonders in 1995...

In 2000, Ace Records released Angel Baby Revisited with previously unreleased cuts and lost materials…

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, ROSIE!
