BILLBOARD's TOP TEN BLUES ALBUMS FOR THE WEEK ENDIN AUGUST 4th 2012

Bonnie Raitt’s SLIPSTREAM album is still at the TOP of the Billboard Blues Chart…
"Take my love with you" (From Slipstream)

Checkin’ in at #2: Tedeschi Trucks Band - Everybody's Talkin'

NUMBER 3: Joe Bonamassa
with  Driving Towards The Daylight

Gary Clark, Jr’s The Bright Lights (EP) is up one slot from #5 to #4… Check him out promoting the tune (and EP) at The Crossroads Guitar Festival a couple of years ago…

Dr. John, The Night Tripper, after 16 weeks on the chart, holding the #1 spot for a minute, has dropped from #4 to #5 with his all the way strong CD “Locked Down”…

A Giant Leap for Royal Southern Brotherhood--most likely the HOTTEST act on the chart—as they go from #10 to #6…

Revelator is the second album on the chart by the Tedeschi Trucks Band (formerly known as the Derek Trucks & Susan Tedeschi Band) and this one comes in at #7 (down just one slot from last week’s #6 spot)…

Let Them Talk by Hugh Laurie comes in at #8 (Down from #7)…

The Wynton Marsalis & Eric Clapton effort, Live at Lincoln Center, is losing momentum dropping to #9—Still a COOL album…

Sonny Landreth’s Elemental Journey drops from #9 to #10—Not bad, considering the fact that this IS the BILLBOARD TOP TEN Blues albums for the week…
